Maria Nirlén graduated in 2000 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Umeå University Sweden and started her career in Stockholm, where she worked for one of Sweden’s biggest private Dental companies “Oral Care AB” which gave her a broad experience within dentistry.
Maria relocated to London in 2008, she has been employed for some of central London prestigious Dental Practices. She is genuinely passionate in her job. Having a keen interest in the prevention of both periodontal disease and dental caries. She is also highly qualified and experienced in both in house and home whitening. She strives to excel in her chosen profession by attending a variety of courses every year.
Maria is very attentive, gentle and thorough with her patients which she always put first. She strongly believes that providing clinical therapeutic educational services, will present a guideline to lifelong healthy teeth. She knows ‘the importance to find patient’s motivation and to understand them and their needs in a relaxed and caring environment, and to be able to reach successful treatment outcome together as a team.
Maria is registered with General Dental Council (GDC 146768) and is a member British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT).
Outside of work, Maria has a passion for health, nutrition and fitness. She enjoys gourmet cooking, skiing, triathlon and currently spending a lot of time with her two lively and lovely boys!
